Gouda Shrimp Puffs
cup vegetable oil
cup plus 2 tablespoons flour
Dash of Tabasco
1 cup shredded Gouda cheese
tablespoon chopped chives
4 1/2-ounce can shrimp, drained, chopped
vegetable oil to 350 degrees F. in an electric skillet. Melt butter in a
medium saucepan. Add water and bring to boil.
Add flour, stirring until
mixture leaves sides of pan. Remove
from heat. Add eggs, one at a time,
beating well at medium speed of
electric mixer after each addition. Stir in
salt, pepper, Gouda cheese,
chives and shrimp.

golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels.
