Debbie's Quick and Easy Mushroom Salad

Debbie forgot to mention…this salad is also delicious. I always feel
compelled to add onions to it - either scallions or sweet red onion rings…

2 pounds fresh mushrooms
1 cup of your favorite vinaigrette dressing
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder [We use minced garlic.]
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 pound spinach, torn
3 tomatoes, cut in wedges
3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Clean mushrooms with damp paper towels, trim and slice them. Combine them with salad dressing, garlic powder, basil, and salt, tossing gently. Sprinkle with parsley. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
Drain well and serve on spinach. Garnish with tomatoes and bacon.
